Recently Hasse completed construction on a major $5 million renovation to the Hammond YMCA building which dates back to 1958. The new addition added expanded weight room, a new child care area, a teen lounge, renovated lobby, main entrance and two new multipurpose classrooms. The Hasse family also has a personal connection with the YMCA since the 1980's and continues to support its mission.
