We are a 4th generation construction company that have served the Midwest for over 100 years. Our innovative, entrepreneurial and professional spirits have brought the Hasse name from bookkeeper to owner for generations to come. With a company so encompassing of the changing landscape, we now look to the next 100 years to keep expanding upon the foundation of this amazing tradition.
1920
100 years ago, a company called Public Construction & Independent Paving was created.

1950
Hasse's son, William A. Hasse Jr., graduates from University of Illinois with a degree in Civil Engineering.

1966
After a decade, William A. Hasse retires in 1966. He leaves Hasse Construction in the hands of his son, the next president.
1980's
Hasse Construction becomes a
3rd generation company, bringing in grandson William A. Hasse III as a Project Manager.
William A. Hasse III becomes president of Hasse Construction at the age of 27.

2017
4th Generation of Hasse's join the company - Kimberly Hasse O'Halloran & Bill S. Hasse
1933
In the midst of the Great Depression, William A. Hasse hits a stroke of luck, winning the Irish Sweepstakes. With his new pot of gold, William decides to promote himself from bookkeeper to part owner, buying out one of the partners.
1956
Hasse and his son decided to take the reins of the company, buying out the other partner. Thus, Hasse Construction was born, renamed from Public.
1970's
Hasse Construction is called in by police to assist in a car wreck. Police needed Hasse to pull a trailer off of a car to rescue passengers inside.
1991
Bill (William A. Hasse III) brings in his younger brother John to join the company.
Hasse Construction Establishes Hasse Engineering.
