Kankakee Welcome Center

Southbound – demo of entire site including parking, welcome center building an all out buildings and pavilion.  Hasse completed construction, furnish and install of a new “Modern” Welcome Center with interior washrooms, vending areas, maintenance area. Construction included brick, block construction with wood beams and structural steel ceilings, standing seam roofing, (2) new exterior stand alone washroom buildings with showers, (2) new pavilion buildings and a new maintenance building, dog park, fishing pond, walking trail with boardwalk complete new concrete paved parking areas expanding the parking areas by double (all total approximately 15 acre plot). Northbound – complete demolition of welcome center building, pavilion and wastewater treatment facility. Construction of (2) new stand alone washroom buildings, remove existing parking areas and double in size all new poured concrete parking areas with new site lighting.
