Position Overview:

Hasse Construction Company, Inc. is looking for a full-time employee to become an integral part of the team at our main office in Calumet City, Illinois. Hasse Construction is a family-owned business. We believe that our people are our greatest asset, and are looking for a candidate who is a team player that is interested in growing along with the company.

The successful candidate for the position must be detail oriented and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills. The individual should enjoy communicating with others, as they will work closely with office and field staff and have experience using accounting software.

​

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform costing of time and material work orders, prepare Customer Invoice.

• Process Customer invoices for lump sum and unit price jobs.

• Monthly Reconciliation of company Credit Card purchases, including job costing and data entry.

• Prepare Weekly Equipment reports including job costing and data entry.

• Monthly Allocation of Fuel purchases and Phone charges, including job costing and data entry. 

• Maintain accounting records by making copies; filing documents as needed.

• Perform various other accounting tasks as needed by accounting team.

• Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

Job Qualifications (Skills and Experience):

• 3-5 years of experience in accounting or project management in construction industry.

• Minimum of High School Diploma; Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s preferred.

• Extremely organized, with strong attention to detail

• Ability to multi-task and work well in a team environment.

• Familiarity with accounting software CMiC a plus.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 environment
