Construction Administrator

Position Overview:

Hasse Construction Company, Inc. is looking for a full time Construction Administrator to become part of our growing team at our main office in Calumet City, Illinois.

The successful candidate for the will provide support for our Project Managers / Estimators. Duties are listed below.  The candidate must be professional and a self-starter.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Look for bids in papers - Daily

  • Acquire bidding documents (check requests, drawings/specification reproduction, cd’s)

  • Make Phone Calls to subs (on/before bid day)

  • Maintain Subcontractor/Vendor database

  • Spreadsheets, Submittals, Transmittals, Proposals, Closeout Documents

  • Answer Phones and direct calls

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all you interact with

  • Coordinate pick-up / delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.)

  • Other duties as assigned


Job Qualifications (Skills and Experience):

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Construction Receptionist or Office Receptionist

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma

  • Extremely organized, with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a team environment

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Word, and Google Apps

  • Experience with construction software preferred
